We want to welcome all Supercar racers to Delmar Delaware to share the fun in our day of racing together. We always look forward to this event because this is where records fall, its fast this time of year, we are right next to the Ocean, and they run us well into the evening, the track is prepared perfectly and trust me....its just plain BAD FAST there!!
Do be aware that weekend is Nascar weekend in Dover if you are coming from the north but we have done this event for the past few years and never really have any problems getting there on time, coming home is usually a little slow, but not bad. In the morning most of your traffic are in the right hand shoulder turning and we just roll on thru. Also alot of the rooms are spoken for, but there are alot of openings still. With Ocean City only being 25 minutes away there are literally thousands of hotels there and you will enjoy your stay along the beach. We hope you enjoy the day at US 13 Dragway, together the N/A Shootout and the Supercar Series all put on a great show together and compliment one another well, so we look forward meeting you all in the lanes at Delmar.
On a side note, we are trying to put together a group of racers to create a rivalry of sorts at the local go kart track in OC the night before and since we will be racing alongside the Outlaw classes of US 13, we thought we would offer a challenge to them and see who actually had the better skills (going in circles that is) at Jolly Rodger Amusement park in OC on Saturday night, the evening before our event. This is still in the making so those of you interested please contact Ralph or myself for more info. We went last year and had a blast.
