Been taking a lot of heat for missing so many races this fall- Here's why...

My son's football team, the 6th Grade Newtown Nighthawks have had an incredible season this year. They have absolutely dominated every team they've played against all season. This weekend they played in the Candlewood Valley League Championship game. The CVL consists of 17 teams from Western CT and Souteastern NY. They've been to the championship game the last 2 years and lost tough games both times. This year they came out on fire! They went up 34-0 with 4 and a half minutes left in the first quarter and then had to slow their play due to a "mercy" rule. They had a great game and all of the kids got plenty of play time.

Next week they move on to the State Semifinal game!

Hey Jeremy, I know you are doing the right thing being with your son, however when you do get to come out to play you better be on fire. You're going to have to be to catch up to me. Hope your son wins and we get to see you either the last race this year or next year.

There will be time for cars. This is your time for kids. I went trick or treating with my Grandkids last night. It's happening all over for me and I love it.
