I took the family out on Ralphs fall foliage cruise. I'd guess a ballpart 150mi round trip and the car performed admirably. The wife wasn't too keen on the lack of heat tho.

On the way home a few WOT pulls on the highway and the motor was rattling. Perhaps it was the 200* + temp combined with a carload of family plus a trunk full of tools and 15lbs of apples but either way I think to be safe I'm going to put some better gas in it for the remainder of the season.

Fellow Mopar in Motion Members had alot of respect for your Duster Chris, all I heard was, The Duster runs 12.00 and he is on the Cruiz. I told them after next weekend you will be saying "That Duster Run's in the 11.s' and he had it on the Autumn Cruiz, Very Cool!!!"

I think that this was the last of the cruises that the car will do. The "Jack of all trades" thing is keeping the car from doing one thing real well. With more compression over the winter and the required race gas I think its time to bite the bullet and look into something else for the street. I'd like to do another A-body, perhaps a Demon or Dart Sport painted white with red stripes, I'm even thinking F-body too after seeing that '77 R/T on the cruise. 408 stroker, stiffer suspension, overdrive, heat, stereo... All things my Cuda used to have. Race one, cruise the wheels off the other....

Chris, I 'm with about trying to use the car other than racing. I went out and bought a 73 Mustang convert to tool around in.

I have to agree with Steve. You need another car for cruisin and one for racing.

Now THAT sounds like a pretty good time to me! Lotsa Cool cars and Autumn colors. But why is every body wearing coats? Thanks for posting the pictures! Any more?

Perhaps a car that runs 114 in the quarter is not the most logical on an endeavor such as this, but consider the memories your kids just made.
My small blocks also tend to rattle when warm and loaded- daily occurrence here tho. The big blocks don't seem to ping nearly as much, donno why.

STILL hot and sunny in AZ.... cu'mon Winter.. please?

WOW!! Cool, I definitely need to get this one on my to-do list for next year. Thanks for the photos, Craneman.
Beautiful cars and I can even see some trees changing in the background. Sure beats the usual brown, tan and brutal sun of the desert. I never did like the cold, but I sure do miss those trees! This looks fun! Perhaps a bon fire and a lil' bottle of whiskey tho-

Hmmm.. where's the covered bridges and big ol' red barns?

Well, looks like I might just have to schedule a business trip back east next October. Ralph, I might need to rent-a-Mopar for this one. And maybe a winter coat?
