Ted, I personaly could'nt bring myself to go,but fortunally a friend of mine (who is not well) attended.
He told me the weather was nice, lots of red Camaros and Chevelle's :sick

Break downs, track clean up :moon

and they sold out of Speedy-Dry... :nuts

He also said he never saw so many mullet haircuts. In fact the last time he saw that many was a Billy Ray Circis concert. :rock

Looks like we did not miss out on a whole heck of a lot.

Chevyfest was good. On Saturday I got three time trials and won three rounds in Chevy street. I broke out by .002 in the fourth round. Sunday I got four time trials and fouled in the first round of eliminations by -.120. Yikes! That pro tree we run is ruining my timing. There was a buy back in for $25 but Karen and I decided to get an early start home and stopped at my favorite fried clam shack. So seven runs Saturday and five on Sunday.

There was some down time but I didn't think it was excessive and there were no more toothless people than at any other track I go to. A cool thing at NED is that they have open time trials from 9 to 9:30 am you can get two or more runs in if you want while the crowd is still going through tech.

The car show was run by two different clubs on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday had a few really nice Novas like yours Ted. Sunday there was a really nice 69 L-72 Biscayne in the show. I have been thinking about selling or trading my 70 Nova and I was surprised at how many tubbed second gen Novas were racing.

They run a number of index classes 11.5 10.5 9.50 and a hope you brung enough heads up class. I saw a turbo Buick Regal in that class go 6.80s at 222mph !!!

Well there we have it...no report of mullets, or speedy dry, or an excessive number of red cars......just nice chevys and fun racing....
