For those that may be interested. SuperCars didn't make the Nats this year but I made it out. As usual, it was a "Sea of Mopars" and hot as Hell. I did see a FAST group there on Friday & Sat, but not Sunday. Some nice machines and I recognized a few cars.

Though I'm not much of a Wing car fan (sorry Ralph), two of the cars that struck me the most this year were both Wing cars. One was Willie B's famous Daytona that terrorized the racing scene in LA. the other was a survivor Superbird that spent much of it's life as a Pace car at a oval dirt track! It was recently written up in Mopar Collector's Guide, but it was really cool to seen in person. It also was driven 15 hrs from MN to the event!

Ralph calls me "Mr. Petina" and these cars certainly bare that out...

The '71 GTX was in the judging area. Very sweet 440-6 with slap stick auto and rare white fender stripes...real sharp.

Here is some other stuff. This '64 D100 truck is a rare CSS (Custom Sport Special). They came with 426 Wedge, factory in dash tach and push button automatic. This thing is even more amazing as it has 470,000 miles on it and the original owner was there chatting about it. His son now owns it and was the one who restored it.

One last thing... Ralph I thought you'd particularly like the T-shirt Mopar Collector Guide was giving out with subscriptions...kind of fits your fleet!!
