We would like to take a moment and welcome a new Sponsor to the SuperCar ShootOut Series. PST Precision Shaft Technologies has joined the SuperCar family.
PST offers many great products, including:

Carbon Fiber Driveshafts
The finest driveshaft available anywhere. Each driveshaft is specifically designed by our Engineering Department to optimize the characteristics of Carbon Fiber required in your special application. Passed SFI test at 2800 Ft/lbs torque.

Chromoly Driveshafts
For high horsepower applications 1200+. Seamless 4130 tubing with chromoly heavy duty 1350 yokes and cryo treated solid u-joints. Welded within .0010 total runout and electronically balanced to insure smooth operation. Passed SFI test at 2800 Ft/lbs torque. A complete line of forged transmission slip yokes is also available.

Street - Strip Aluminum Driveshafts.
6061-T6 Dom tubing gives the most concentric Aluminum Driveshaft available. High strength aluminum tube yokes are Mig welded with less than 10 thousands total run out. The aluminum driveshaft is balanced to less than 1/4 oz/in to assure vibration free operation. Highly polished aluminum driveshafts can be ready for shipment in 48 hours in most cases.
Mild Steel Automotive Driveshafts
Mild Steel automotive driveshafts can be built to fit any application. Seamless Dom Tubing is the basis to producing finely balanced driveshafts. A small amount of information allows us to ship you a quality product with high gloss black or white finish.

The Cryogenic Process
The Cryogenic Process is capable of dramatically improving the performance characteristics of a wide variety of materials, such as ferrous and non-ferrous metals, alloys, carbides, plastics (including Nylon and Polymers) and ceramics. The entire process takes between 12 and 24 hours depending on the application and the results being sought.
Our Cryogenic Process is not a surface treatment. It effects the entire mass of the component being treated, making it stronger throughout and dramatically reducing wear. This means that the process keeps working for the life of the component rather than ceasing to be effective after the surface is worn or otherwise damaged. The hardness of the material treated is unaffected so there is actually less tendency to crack or chip while its strength and durability is increased. Our state-of-the-art cryogenic systems use a computer that duplicates the optimal thermal curve. It precisely regulates the temperature change and brings an absolute consistency not available in any other tempering process.
