Ted looking good!
The amount of work going into it in such a short time is quite a feat. My father and I are working on the Duster, but we've been working on it for a couple of years, your going to pass our point very soon. lol
Two questions:
Any pointers on seat covering? I attempted it, but ended up tearing one of the covers trying to get the wrinkles out, I think it was too cold, wasn't using a heat gun and I am cheap and keep the heat on at minimal while working. Don't want to send them out and cough up 400+, but the covers aren't cheap either, lol.
Your rollbar... Is it me or do you not have a d/s door bar? Or are you waiting to put seat in to see where it needs to be?
Thanks brian,
i have never done the covers before and ralph made it look easy...a few things i learned were, definitly turn up the heat and use a heat gun for sure!
i would take up ralph on his offer its worth it....just cost me some pankace mix
as for the roll bar, yes there is a D/S bar, we mocked it up with the seat in place and are waiting to put the seat in as its easier then fighting with it to get it in. We will cover up stuff and weld it in last..
as for the speed of the project, we did the chevelle in the same way, just not for racing ,as i wasnt into it then, but this nova is surely a deeper project, and i truly hope to go down the track in april.., of course it will be a shake down run as you can imagine but this will be my racer and i hope she boogies
Hows the duster, got some pixs for us
