For those of you that haven't heard, there were a sickening number of cars damaged or destroyed by the weather that blew thru Scottsdale on Thurs. night, when the tents housing the cars for the Russo Steele Auction collapsed. I feel sorry for all that suffered damage to their prized automobiles. Here is a link documenting some of the damage:

Ralph's friend had called last week to say that he saw that Ralph's old 67 GTX was scheduled to go thru the RS auction on friday. We looked it up on the RS website, and the vin # confirmed that it was indeed his old GTX. We were looking forward to checking out the live feed that RS was supposed to have of the auction friday night. The GTX was Ralph's first Hemi car, he purchased it the same year that I bought my Demon, 1991. It was a great car.

I was sick to see all the damage to the cars. And, even though he no longer owns it, I was worried about the GTX. I found 2 pics of our old car, I just am not sure of the extent of the damage to the GTX. Judging by these pic's (it's the blue 67 GTX), I don't think it escaped without harm.

I'm shocked that with all the destruction, that nobody was injured, thank God for that!

Hopefully insurance pulls thru for them all. All damage can be fixed.
