I was told they never built one of these-

VIN 114270W2*******

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Nova-SS- ... 27ac456093

1970 Chevrolet Nova SS L-89, 396/375 HP.

Numbers matching car.

It has been brought to my attention that the trim tag shows 732 Black Bench Seat.

It also shows B for "Blue interior", it should have been an "A" black interior.

Is this another factory typo "B" instead of an A......

What would be more likely the typo, the bench seat or the "B" for interior.

There is also a "O" after 03D which has been questioned, I could not find its meaning.

I do not think the car was ordered Black Bench Seat, with a Blue interior.

I appreciate the heads up, and have clarified them myself on a Nova site.

Documentation including POP warranty booklet, owners manual, pre-delivery, dealer brochures, etc.

The car maintains its stamped original block.

All found stampings match the POP Booklet from the rear differential, transmission, and block.

The car has had a body of restoration, and fires up and drives like a new car.

The car is painted its original Cortez Silver, with a black vinyl top.

The car maintains it's black interior, bench seat, 4 speed.

Radio delete, no gauges, ordered with the Heavy Duty Clutch decoded on stamping.

The car was ordered to race.

The car was ordered with a 12 bolt posi 4:10 rear supported by its pre-delivery sheet, and stamping.

See an example of another cars MSO in pictures from Scuncio Chevrolet In RI showing the ordered 4:10 rear end!

The transmission is a Muncie, M-21 4 speed and shifts like new.

The car maintains its original rear quarters, stampings clearly visible.

Car sits on super sport wheels, and polyglass tires

The car is highly detailed from its undercarriage, exterior, and engine bay compartment.

There is one other known Chevrolet Nova SS L-89 known car to exist.

Thanks for viewing the car.

Hey Buddy! Welcome back to the board. No Chevy for me at this time. I find them and then try to get Ted to pull the trigger. I agree Seeb that is one very nice Nova.

Hey Ted... been waiting for the rain to stop all summer, as most of you probablly have too, don't know about gettin the 69 in with you guys, pretty much would have to undo everything I've done to the car since I got it.
