Unfortunately, my wife has reminded me that I have a family function on the 25th that I must attend. So I won't be able to make the rescheduled Gear Heads Event. I will be in NH the following weekend for the Mopar Show and will be making an effort to attend either the Englishtown or Atco events, perhaps both if I can arrange it.

Walt

Thanks, That was captured in Carlisle several years ago. A photographer from one of the Mopar magazines had the owner park the car at the base of the small cliff face on the edge of the show field to take photos for his magazine. He shot all his images with the cliff in the background. meanwhile, I was standing atop the cliff looking down at the car and thought I captured a much better image than any that were printed in the magazine. I like to capture images of cars at different angles from the norm. For example, with all the Mopars in Motion shows I shoot for the club website, I'm usually carrying around a large step ladder so I can get up high and shoot down at the car. It allows me to captrue the car at an angle that people don't normally see.

The image I added to my signature, is a HDR (High Dynamic Range) image of my own car I did over the summer. Same car as in the Old Saybrook Dash Plaque above. It's actually a composite of 3 identical photos, one normal exposure, one under exposed and one over exposed which were captured on a back road not too far from my house. I made the mark on the road then pulled the car back around and parked it at the top on the hill. I walked back down the hill and shot the 3 images using a tripod. The 3 images are then combined using software to create the final image. By combining the 3 images, it allows me to pull detail out that you can't normally see with the naked eye.
