The new Stang is not very good looking :sick I am sure it will grow on me. I do like the new Camaro, But the Challenger is spot on perfect :aok It is so similar to the 70's model. Over sized, Bad awesome power!

Bruce is in the process of dealing on a new Challenger SRT8 in NJ 6 SPd. :drive 45K with every option  :sick

Particularly don't get the "rounded" back end on the Mustang? Almost as if they were trying to "Honda-ize" it?? :shrug

The new facelift on the Mustang answers the question "Where do you go next after Retro" and I guess the answer is modernize it. I liked the first incarnation but I don't like the refresh.

The Challenger is cool and if there was an award for whoever could mimic the original the most, it would be Dodge but I don't think thats good. Its not like the design team took "styling cues" from the original, its like they saw the new mustang take off and said "if paying homage to the original sells, lets take it even further". I love the original E-body Challenger, it was sleek, tough, sexy and just plain awesome. The new Challenger looks like an original that gave up kicking ass and sat in front of the TV and lived on twinkies.

The Camaro is a futuristic looking car that borrowed styling points from the first gens but not enough to keep the car from looking modern.

It's great that all three are back but IMHO, Chevy did it right. It just may be too late.....

I'd still take the Mustang out of the 3 of them. I agree that the tail treatment doesn't look near as good as the '05-09 version but it still looks waaaaaay better than what Chevy did with the new Camaro. :sick Image
I wasn't real fond of the Camaro concept but in typical GM fashion they removed all that was good on the way to the production version. It comes off looking like it's trying to hard to be something, yet pitifully missing the mark. :shrug

The Challenger looks pretty good- they got the styling right, but the scale is off. When you see one in person it's much bigger (and heavier!) than it looks.

Also leaning in the Mustangs favor is the fact that Ford sells it as a regular car. It's not some limited production boutique car. They're priced reasonably and the dealers aren't adding huge markups

The only reason is because the Mustang has been out for a while. When they first hit the showroom they had markups too.

Well,

i don't know about the Challenger looking big and heavy. I don't see it.

Maybe the price holding back people from buying it makes it easy to heckle over.

Large??

I have not been near the Camaro to make comparison, but the "Giant" Challenger

is 4 inches thinner, and 300 & change lbs. heavier. Big deal.....you racing it??

You could with that perfect V-8!!!!

It looks twice as muscle bound as the other two combined, and Ford cutting corners

on the Mustang will be a joke before long. Those 45 degree corners....yea...thats real boss.

The picture below of the three show the Big man on Campus!! :pop :pop :stir :pop :pop

Also pictured is Tom from Moparts perfect example............

That thing on the left looks like a Pooper Scooper at best....maybe a Zambonie......

My thoughts only......... :hungry

d

Your GT500 has a sticker of at least 10k more than a Camaro 2SS, 10k could buy a lot of hp :aok .... not a lot of New Camaros out there yet to get the talking on the streets.
