It is official my first midlife crisis!
Well being that I have had the impala for thirty years now that can not be considered a midlife crisis, just "hopeless" if you ask my wife, (Just joking Patti

I love you!) I took the plunge on another project. I always wanted an antique truck to knock around with. Figure it would be a great conversation starter when going out to look at various jobs. It was between Ford and Chevy sorry no Dodge getting parts for those would be an adventure.
In the end I went with and picked up out of a Martinsville Va. a 1969 Ford F100. It has a 390 with a three speed on the column with overdrive. Another reason for Ford is the history. My grandfather's first vehicle when he came from Italy was a model A ford pickup and my father drove a Ford , and my Uncle drives a Ford, my fleet pickups are Fords, my brother Brian drives a Ford, my pickup is a Ford, so when in Rome. We went down south to find something with no real rust like the ones up here and for the fact they are alot cheaper down there. The truck is mechanically tight just needed a brake job. Going to paint it my company colors purple and white and down the road to be different and to go green is to set it up as a bifuel vehicle that can run on CNG. There is some CNG pumps by me and at $1.50 a gallon minumum cheaper than gas why not, since that is my goal to change over my gas powered vehicles to. Have to throw out my props already for my younger brother Brian driving down to get it and Sunset towing for letting him take the flatbed instead of pick up with trailer.
As for the impala with the winter we had got nothing done to it yet.

Probably take as is for the ice breaker and then work on it and get it ready for the next race with some improvement.
