Canadian Event #2 June 18/19 TMP Recap First of all....WHAT A GREAT TIME!! The number of people who we spoke with increased dramatically over the first event. OSCA's Mike Bennett has been very happy with the interest. Mike is also OSCA's Race Director and Announcer extraordinaire. We made six runs on raceday, following the popular 7 second EZ street class. Each time Mike hyped up the runs by explaining the class and talking about tires and exhaust manifolds etc... As we got back to the pit there was tons of questions to answer! This time we brought Eugene's 1969 Camaro, it was assembled in the days leading up to the race. (READ THRASH) We assembled a pump gas 468 for cruising, as this car was to be traded a few months earlier but the deal fell though. It ran in the 11s at almost 120mph. As more people become aware of the Supercars name and that it means seeing musclecars going down the track, we are very excited about the thing to come!

Great to see the Camaro on the track. What were your best 60' with the Camaro? |

The best we got was a 1.82. And considering it was a brand new tire and we don't know what we are doing. I think that's OK.
