June 19th New England Dragway Epping, NH.

SuperCar ShootOut Series presents, The Third Race of the 2010 Factory Appearing Season! Forgo those hot greasy unprepped tracks in June and come to cool sticky New England Dragway in Epping, New Hampshire.

Open to all Factory Appearing, Factory Stock and Pure Stock.

Qualifying in the morning then we break into a Quick Eight Ladder (Sportsman ladder formed by qualifying order w/ consolation race) and 2 out of 3 Match Races.

Gates open at 9AM get there early!


Continue the 2010 season by resetting your personal best record or come and set the record for all to shoot.

New Records and Personal best have already started. The New England Quarter Mile is real sticky and quick!!! Kevin Davey ran his best ever tonight (Friday TnT) a 12.96 E/T @ 109 in his 1970 Challenger R/T 440+6BBL 4Spd. Look for more info and pics.

For those wondering, I did not have a chance to get out on the track tonight with the HP2. Way to busy setting up the showfield for Saturday. Looks like we are going to have another great SuperCar event this weekend.

We had a great day! Our car count total was over 90 cars and over 300 Race cars taking part in the Power Fest. The track was real good, considering it was a very warm day.

Some results from the ShootOut, Kevin Challenger did well once we played with tire presure. The HP2 did very well, I worked on getting the tires seasoned for the second half of the 2010 season. I also worked on suspension tuning and had some good results.

We had 9 runs and also had the choice to run in the TnT lane if we wanted to more. We hooked a couple new racers. John with a 1970 Mustang Boss 302 4Spd. Frank with his 1968 Road Runner made his second appearance in the ShootOut and ran well into the 14's. Tom brought out his 100 point 1969 Charger R/T 426 Hemi 4Spd. Hal came out with his Impala, Fred came out with is 1968 383 Super Bee.

On Friday morning I stripped the SuperBird of its GoodYear Polyglass F60x15 for Kevin to use. Installed grocery getter rubber on the SuperBird

That picture takes me back to driving on the cross Bronx expressway in the 80's with cars on blocks. LOL
