This year at the FM Auto Show we are going to have a Display of eight all make Musclecars. The show runs Friday the 5th through 7th of February. We are proud to announce that we have a special guest joining us at FM this year, Frank Lobue. He is a WWII veteran and a true hero and all around great guy, and avid car collector. In 1944, he was part of the invasion on the Anzio Beachhead in Italy. The Germans attacked the Allied Forces for four months, bombarding them with artillery shells fired upon them by a powerful 274mm Railroad Gun, nicknamed the "Anzio Express". On May 19, 1944, Frank and his fellow soldiers were able to break through and capture the infamous "Anzio Express". They then continued to push their way into Rome on June 6, 1944, to help liberate Italy from the Germans. It will be an honor to have Frank Lobue with the Super Car display. Frank will be bringing his most recent acquisition, a 1963 Ford Thunderbird, 390ci V8, 340hp. Who knows, maybe we can talk him into taking it down the track at a SuerCar event this year! |

Do you know what unit he was in? I had an uncle who was part of the invasion of Anzio. |

His Jeep was the first one on the island, they landed on gliders. Also you see my grandmothers name on the Jeep.

Getting ready to make more memories, take some great pics. This is line up of participants from the 2009 SuperCar Display. I have participated in this great show for 22 consecutive years. What a great show and great group of guys that put this all together.

We are moved in and ready for the crowds. This weekend the weather will be perfect in CT . Make your way out to the Auto Show and check out the great Cars, Trucks, Cycles and sites.... A great way to get ready for spring and the 2010 season.A couple of set up picture I took today.
