June 26-28, 2009 SuperCar FireCore50 Challenge Race 2 GM's @ Carlisle was a great success! The weather held back some of the racers that were scheduled to come out, some had mechanical issues that could not be resolved :sick . Here are a couple of pics from the weekend. I will post results soon, This Race was a double points event due the complete rain out of the Ford's @ Carlisle event. :cheers Thanks to- FireCore50 Custom Wire Sets, Ted x 2, John x 2, Quarter Aces Drag-O-Way Owner, Announcers and Track personel, Rick, Ed, Chuck and Sharleen :winner . John's back-up Mill laid down some pretty good E/T's. John can't wait till the BIG "Doc' TONY" power plant is done. Look for the First Olds in the twelves and possibly the elevens by the end of the season.

King of the hill match up was tight. Ted was running the number all day long. When he tuned the Big Milled it would perform to an even great level. The HP2 finally saw the track at this event after a couple of shakedown passes. The green light was given and off to hunt Rat's the Elephant went. After the Dust settled Ted won four rounds to Ralph's Three Rounds. Congrat's Ted on your Top Eliminator rank for GM's @ Carlisle SuperCar ShootOut Firecore50 Challenge, All of your Awards, Cash Prize and merchandise totaled over $300.00 (Top Eliminator, Quickest Hemi/Chevy Big Block, Third place on the Show Field, Cash prize and a Set of Firecore50 wires for your Chevelle.

With memories of a great weekend fresh in my mind. I can't wait to do it all over again in two weeks at the SuperCar ShootOut FireCore50 Challenge Race 3 at Chrysler's @ Carlisle July 10-12. Don;t miss this great event.

just got back from vacation, ...left after GM event....glad to be home!

thanks to all we met at carlisle, and ralph, sharleen, john, and others.

a great event, and show... found some parts for the next build :blah

too bad the weather was not so great , but still got in some racing...

sorry i wont be at the next event due to teddys baseball friday, and saturday, and a pre arranged bar-b-q with friends!

I love this picture of the race we had in reverse, it was a real crowd pleaser!
