Post subject: | 1972 Duster 340 Auto |
SOLD!!! I'm looking to sell my Stock Appearing 72 Duster Race car. This car is completely F.A.S.T. and Supercar legal. This car has run a best of 11.43 @ 120mph which makes it the quickest smallblock powered in Supercar Races and it ran an 11.44 @ 120 at Spring Musclepalooza making it the fastest FAST small block too. This is a turn key, purpose built Race car with lots of potential. Low 11 seconds are within reach. The project started out as a very solid /6 survivor, cloned into a 340 car. Engine is a fresh custom stroke 444 with 13.6 compression built in the winter of '09. The tranny is a rollerized column shift 904 that also was built early '09 and new 8 3/4 with 3.73's and spool in the back. The car is setup with manual brakes, manual steering and heater and radio delete. The car has had a 4 speed hump added when first built and its still there but blanked over and a new 4 speed carpet installed over it. It weighs in at 2950# without a driver. I've got all receipts and lots of documentation/photographs of the entire project. I'm asking $26k (reduced) and am open to offers. I would be interested in partial mopar trades. Again, this is a turn key F.A.S.T. race car, you put fuel in it and run mid 11's out of the box. If you ever contemplated racing in this series you know you'd be very hard pressed to go this fast for this price. Contact me @ cjk44t@yahoo.com with any questions and lots of details, I'll give you my phone number. Here's some specs.
