Unfortunately due to all sorts of health problems with myself and my father, i will be sellin my Torino. I prefer to sell it as a package with my q code/4spd base model car and all the engines/parts to go with my project. I'd love to see the car finished as I had envisioned, basically a clone of the rusty 4 spd car. It would be a cheap way for someone to get into this pure stock/stock appearin drags. The blue car is just a base 302/c4 auto car, does have power steerin but is manual brakes. The body has very little rust, TINY bit behind each rear wheel, pinhole under the truck weatherstrip and light surface here and there. Interior and exterior chrome is pretty mint other then a small hole in the headliner from a mouse and a tiny split in drivers seat. The q code/4 spd car has a non original 351c 2v engine that has a edelbrock performer intake, 600 holley, mt valve covers but it did run very well. I haven't started it up in a couple years, so carb may be a little funky but I plan to try and fire it up here very soon. It is very crusty but complete, the tach and all gauges worked, rear sway bar and brackets are there, all 4 spd parts are there but the original hurst comp shifter is pretty sloppy and in need of a rebuild. I have 2 other lower mileage 351c 2v engines, one a 70 with under 50k miles (i did not hear this run) and a 73 with 89k miles that I ran and took out of another fastback I have. I have 3 sets of correct 73 351cj heads, couple intakes, couple correct motorcraft 750 cfm carbs, correct cj style air cleaner with excellent shape chrome lid, set of crack free ex manifolds which are hard to come by and pricey when you do find them, set of aluminum boss 302 valve covers and other parts I cannot think of at the moment. Basically everything you need to build a correct 73 351cj/4 spd base model torino, promise you will never see another around, especially at one of these factory stock drags. I know this group is mainly for the gm and mopar guys with 72 and older cars but I thought i'd list this here anyways in case you had friends who want to get into this hobby at a cheaper price.
These cars are extremely hard to find this original and rust free, I personally like the no frills base model over the gran Torinos. With it's vinyl floor, bench seat, high revvin 4v headed cleveland and a 4 spd to row through, it could be very fun in the factory stock class or stroke and poke it and really make it sing for the factory appearin class. Anyone who knows clevelands can tell you the power potential of the 4v heads is up there. Car is located in se ky, about 2 hrs north of knoxville tn and 2 hours south of lexington ky. I wanted to post here first and will add and update pics as I get time to take some new ones. thanks $16,500 for both cars, both spare engines, 3 sets of cyl heads,carbs, inatakes, cj air cleaner, ex manifolds and all related 351cj parts I have gathered for this car.
