My son is looking to get a little more acceleration out of his tank. The 2.41 gears in it now are great cranking down the interstate, but not so good for acceleration. Looking for a complete rear to swap in. GM 8.5 posi rear, Ideal would be 3.23 ratio or so, but will take anything from 3.08 on up.
These rears were in GM B-body (full size) from 1977 up through the mid '90s. In a lot of cop cars from that era. Also rears from '73-77 A-body (LeMans, Chevelle, Cutlass, Skylark, Etc.) and G-body (Grand Prix, Monte Carlo) will be direct bolt in.
Let me know if you've got one- or know where one is.
