Hope I'm not out of line linking to my auction on "the bay" here... reserve is $8000.00 USD

It's a great car, very solid. I just don't have the storage or time for this many vehicles right now. I have it insured through Grundy for $12,000, it costs me a whopping $124 per year to insure it.

Looks like it is going to Canada, about 5 hours left, reserve met & exceeded. :aok

This will free up more time and needed space to work on the Chevelle. :drive

Almost two weeks, and I haven't recieved payment yet. Going to give it a few more days, then the car is back on the market.

::sigh:: Looks like I still own this car. I have literally sold it four times this year. Only to have people back out last minute. Now I am dealing with all of the car flippers who want to buy it for half of what I was asking. :roll

I just sent the carburetor out to Ken @ Everyday Performance. It had a slight off idle stumble, and a hard time idling when first started. It wasn't a big deal, but I decided to have it fixed. The warm weather is here, I might as well drive it and enjoy it... right?

Absolute drop dead price on the car is $8000.00 USD if anyone is interested. If I had more disposable income, I would put a stroked BBC in it and let it eat. :dragster

Pretty much as the car sits now, I have recently replaced the center caps with the correct "top hat" center caps. I have many more pictures, ask and you shall receive.

Got an email from Ken today, should have the carburetor back next week. :aok

A cam change and some exhaust manifolds is about all this car needs to be "legal." ;)

Finally got around to putting the carburetor back on and dialing it in. (which by the way, took almost no adjustment, it was 99.9% spot on out of the box) Drove it tonight even though it rained, car runs great. You almost forget it's a 41 year old dinosaur because it runs and drives so smooth. :-D

The weather was more agreeable tonight, aka - no rain. So, took it for a ride and got some fresh pictures of the car...

Still no takers, finally have had a few people take the time to look at it and drive it lately. (That is a nice change vs. people trying to play games over the Internet) Started to clay bar the hood early this morning, still have the rest of the car to do as time allows. The paint job is still holding up well despite being 8+ years old.

Pretty much sold, recieved a $500 deposit this morning. The car leaves Tuesday, and will be getting the rest of my money at the same time.
