Ralph I am glad you put this up.....I am proud to be an American and will not forget

This weekend Teddy will be playing in a baseball tourney where the entry fees and concession proceeds go to build a memorial for a local fallen soldier!

Very proud and I can't think of a better place to be this weekend!

I also would like to thank ken v's step son bill who is proudly serving our country as we speak..

:agree :USA Same here proud to be an American. I have known many people over the years who served from WWI to my friends who are over seas right now. One person was Mr. Warden a customer of my grandfather who marched in the Memorial day parade in Port Washington till he was 104 years old and then rode in it till he was 107. One of many great people. I fly the flag everday at my yard and my home in honor of them . So everyone should take a few moments this weekend to say a prayer for them.

I am lucky enough to still have my Dad at 88 who served in the South Pacific on a Tin Can chasing subs. He like most of the WWII heros has never talked about it much. These guys are dieing off at a rate of 2000 a day.

Thanks to all my fellow vets especially those who made the ultimate sacrifice for us.
