Mike where on the island do you live? So you must love Friday afternoon on the LIE during the summer time. For me it is just two exits and that is enough for me. When my wife and I bought our house my condition was that it was no more than a twenty minute ride since I work crazy and odd hours. We ended up in Westbury almost 10 miles to my yard. Right now I am trying to sell my yard in Port Washington and move my operations to Westbury. The reason being is property taxes are about half of what I am paying now. Then there is the fact it is only a mile form my house is not a bad thing.

the riverhead town board keeps thinking like a small town, so no motor plex. the new town supervisor is hot rod friendly as he has encouraged and publicly supported multiple hot rod nights in riverhead village. also our anti race track county executive crook is not running for re-election so there is renewed hope for a track in the future :cross
