Now this is for anyone into nostalgia. To think that I thought driving my 63 Chevy 3-5K miles a year was pretty good.

i am a big model a buff, and i own two, one 29 woody , and a 29 town sedan.
They are actually very reliable and modern enough to keep up in traffic, with the exception of major freeway speeds!

Was hopeing to use the A on ralphs tour this year, but couldnt make it!
Maybe next year!

a cool story though :aok

This winter's project we are restoring a 29 model A pick up for dave, my painter!
i owe him for doing the nova. I'll try to get some pix up!

I agree that one would be surprised on how reliable they are. We had a 48 ford f5 that we used for work up until 92. Also we had 2 b series Mack with the flathead six cylinder motor, could not kill them. Actually one of my buddies has three model A's and he has a survivor 36 dodge that he drives every sumer.

Why not?

When I got my first car I wanted all the creature comforts but pops was telling me how all that stuff will be troublesome. Looking at all the wizz bang stuff on new cars you know they are going to have a limited lifespan.
