Can anyone recommend a muffler that would be a nice replacement for the 50 series flow master. Also less interior noise.

Billy can't wait to see the cars in the spring.

hope this helps :aok

Make sure to spend the extra and get Stainless ones. I bought the shorty "Hemi Mufflers" 14inch for the Black Hemi Road Runner they sound like $hit and are loud in the car :sick . I have the 20inch on the Burnt Oranges Road Runner and they sound good and resonate less in the car :aok . I would go with the 20 inch stainless ultra flo...

I agree with Ralph on the muffler size. The 20" are on my 375/396 Chevelle 2.5" with a Pypes front half. The downpipes did not fit very well, it was one of the first systmes done for A body big-block in 2004. I just had to replace the tail-pipes & CVX mufflers (both rotted out). We did conventional bends w/ 2.5 inch tails to get the position correct and 20" body mufflers. It is much more enjoyable to drive now, compared with the 16" CVX mufflers.

Hey Billy,

A few guys on the Yenko site swear by the Pypes crossflow SGF70 for the performance and how it replicates a single muffler stock type exhaust. I believe that John Slavin's silver 69 L78 camaro is on the Pypes site in the photo gallery. Looks like the SGF70 also. Maybe he can comment on it. Summit and Jegs have it for 499.95. You would also need the down pipes from the manifolds and the tips. Leaning towards that setup when I'm ready.
