Has anyone had any problems using the original style radiator and heater close clamps while racing thier cars or driving around town?

Thanks.

No problems using the the original style clamps. I haven't had a leak using them

That's good to hear. I'm going to replace the chrome screw type hose clamps and I just wanted to double check.

They work fine. The only issue I had was reusing an old hose that had a band clamp, then I tried to put a factory clamp on and it had a slight leak. Had to get a new hose to fix the issue. I run the factory clamps on all the cars.

I see, that's what I did Ralph. I put an original hose clamp on a hose that had a chrome clamp so I'll keep an eye on it until I can replace the hose.

Thanks for sharing.
