We have another SuperCar build going together :rock . Dalton (my Father In-law) sold his 1968 Hemi Road Runner right after the Frank Marratta AutoShow. In March Dalton took ownership of two new Mopars A 1968 Dart GTS 383 Auto. The other Mopar is a 1968 Plymouth RoadRunner featured in our Swap Pages. Image

The plan is to have the Road Runner repainted by Central CT Auto. Kevin plans on having the Road Runner back to Dalton in the next two months.

The Road Runner will feature a Stroked Low Deck Mill from, Billy Atwood's Auto Services of Old SayBrook with the parts and Cylinder heads supplied by Nick over at Compu Flo.

Dalton plans on installing the Stroker in his other new Mopar he purchased a 1968 Dart GTS.

Kevin at Central CT Automotive completed the repaint. The Road Runner was a rust free original Arizona find. The Rust free body repainted once many years ago.

Ralph, what the difference between the RR he had and this one??? I remember the other one had the hemi that was a super real clean car from what I thought. Why the change?

Actually both the Hemi and this RR are original panel cars. The other was a Hemi this one will be a 383 (as born). A little less power but should go good. He is hoping for a low 13. The build is mild but strong. The great thing is he will be able to turn up the wick easily with a set of heads. Why the change? Dalton likes to have a new toy every couple of years. I don't see him having the Dart or this RR for ever.

The Bodywork and paint are complete. Trim is installed, waiting for the grill and a couple of small pieces.

The Mill is a 383 stroked to 450 cubes. The MAchine work and assembly was done by Billy Atwood @ Auto Serviecs of Old Saybrook.
