I was working in the garage Saturday. I had my engine hoist out and ready to pluck a blown up Cobra motor.

Of course kids really enjoy the concept of mechanical advantage and are amazed with how a little kid can give a pump of the hyraulic lever, and the big crane boom moves up a little.

Don't turn your back.

At least it's just a little sheetrock patching. When I started reading the post I thought it was going to be something much worse!

Erik has been my official engine hoist operator since he was 4 years old. Only one "incident" when he dropped a 455 block a little too quickly and it made a loud "thud" when it hit the floor, no damage though.

The kid was just trying to show you you need more height in your garage. How about tearing out whats above it so you can put a lift in too. As a FORD owner you are going to need all the tools you can get.
