Bring it to crankshaft inc show rich the bearing he will tell if line hone is needed he can balance the rotating assy.
he in newington ct have some patience with rich he does grate work

Is that at 872 four rod rd berlin?i still have to get the pistons/rings/bearings. Bring all 8 or just one piston/rod set up? I also need new cam bearings installed.

I can do the cam bearings. get the crank to rick asp in the case it need work at that time let him look at all the bearings if he think line boreing is needed then he can do cam bearings

I called Scat to get the rod bolt stretch spec for the ARP rod bolts. Not really happy with their response. ARP just say call Scat. Scat doesn't use bolt stretch. They told me to torque them to 63 lbs. Apparently they torque to 63 lbs and finish hone the rod when they make them. So they really don't know how much stretch/clamping force when honed. I finally got them to give me .003 to no more than .005, the good news is they all come in at minimum .004 stretch using torque wrench set at 63 lbs. I think I'm going to use a combination, torque wrench at 63lbs and if lower than .004 bring it to that stretch. :pop

Dropped the crank off last Monday. Still straight,but it would probably not clean up with just polish. So cutting it .010 :pop
