New member here......After looking around the site and seeing the cars and mentality here......I think I've found a place that is right in line with my "Passion"......A little background about myself........I grew up in Chicago i and got my drivers license in the 1963, so I spent my weekends at Nickey, Mr. Norms and at Union Grove and U.S. 30 drag strips.....the mid to late 60's is where I'm "Stuck".........LOL......Anyhow, the older I get the more "Stuff" from that era I have to have (Spoiled Brat Syndrome)........I still go to the Grove for the Nitrous Car shootout's and have a Street 66 Nova that run's in the 10's on Drag Radials.....ran the Nova till I was told to put a cage in it which I didn't want to do so now I'm just a spectator......Here's a pic of the Nova

I also just finished restoring another of what I consider to be one of the Ultimate muscle cars of my time ...a 66 L-72 Biscayne (clone).....I went thru the car completely (Bare metal up) and I drive this car all over.......It originally had a 3.90 rear and was pretty impressive, but .....I drive my cars and it wasn't too practical, so I changed the rear to a 3.08 (Boring) and put in a Richmond super T 10 with a 2.88 first gear.....Now I can go anywhere within reason.......Pretty Cool....Here are some pics

Ken, Welcome to the Board. We are excited that you joined the SuperCar family. Please feel free to post, use the facilities to keep the "spoiled brat syndrone going" :runaway. Very nice Biscayne, we will be asking for yor help to get Hal (Old Fart Racing) to upgrade to the BIG power plant. The problem is his big Chevy is lethal and with Hal behind the wheel it's a combo that wins almost everytime out. You have some very nice IRON!
