if you notice, this rear is set up for multi leaf springs (perches) and will not be a mono leaf car, those are only for lower horsepower cars!

internally we have 3.73 gears bolted to a lightweight spool, c-clip eliminators, and gun drilled, fluted, lightweight axels!

body is coming along nicely and should be in primer soon!
the roll bar is half way there and should be done by the end of the week :-D

again i cannot say enough about my buddys, robert, todd, jimmy, and dave who have helped tremendously to get this car built

theres not enough beer in the world to repay them :cheers

and none in the fridge which explains the progress :lol:

thanks kwhizz,
as a nova guy you will notice, as i decided to build a 69 L89, i closed in the marker light openings, and tail light openings, to accept the correct lights!
i like the 68-9 tail lights better anyway
we fabricated the roll bar to run parallel with the sail panels to be more pleasing to the eye, and the hoop is in the shadow of the door pillar when standing left or right of front.

being a big guy, the side bars are a little high on the hoop, so as to catch me in the right place as nhra rules require.......so a little more is seen than i would have liked...but....so it goes!

Great job. Talking about and extreme car make over. That thing should scream down the track and look factory new as it is doing it.

got a big order today from Ground Up Restorations.....mostly interior panels, seat covers, etc. , ebrake cables, big block 396 multi-leaf springs, brake lines, and a bunch more goodies, ....hope to get some good progress picks by the end of the week :-D
