First off, i just wanted to say thanks to Ted as he was one of the first people I talked to last year at E-town when they were doing the FAST drags there. He was by far one of the nicest guys there and had absolutely no issue with me crawling all over his car checking it out. Some folks were not as open. For that Ted, I thank you. You really got me motivated on my build and hope to be out there soon.

Secondly, GORGEOUS CAR MAN!!! Can't wait to see it at Etown on Saturday.

for those who have been following, for the most part the nova is done

there are a few little trim items etc. but we are ready to go

Sounds like it made a good first event. No problems, nothing broke, thats about as good as you can get!
12 oh's at a ho hum 115.... I think next event your gonna have to push that right foot to the floor.

So whats the verdict on the 60', tire pressure, etc. I'm going to need a starting point on the duster, we're running the same size tire, body styles are the same, etc. Any tinkering yet, or just making sure it was going to make it down the track.

thanks brian, i started out at 25 psi and dropped to 20 by the end of the day, and she was hooking pretty good!

1.84 60' was the best, i think i will get some adjustable shocks and start tuning there

Sounds like the tire pressure is right around where the aar liked the g60's.

I hope to be... as they say the "devils in the details".... My bank account and personal life are really hating the duster right now.. lol. I don't want to rush it, I want the car to be as close to oem appearing as possible, so I taking the time now to get the details right. With that said, the rearend was torn back apart last weekend, its back together now, front suspension, brakes, plumbing, 99% wiring done. Once the rearend goes back in with the leafsprings this week, dad will come up and the motor will be dropped in this weekend, then wait for the tranny, interior. etc.
