I tried, but everyone has been busy including me. I hope to have te hood on this week. Sent the hood to the Media Blaster then off to Central CT. The hood cleaned up very well :aok .

The hood is painted and buffed out. Waiting to have the Bubble, Air Grabber Door and the back of the Hood painted.

Between :thunder Thunder Storms :thunder Yesterday afternoon I took the Road Runner down to Central CT Automotive to install the hood. Yes, I drove it :nuts

The color match is very close. I didn't want to get into blending the fenders etc.

Waited out the weather at the car wash. I hit the road at the end of rush hour traffic :nuts . Surprising only the rear of the car was really dirty. Next step is to install the bubble, air grabber door, decals, switch, canister, lines, hood pins and what ever else I forgot. After the hood is functional off to Auto Services of Old Saybrook for Exhaust and then 1320.

I am sure that big hole in the hood really helps in the rain. What's with the front bumper? It looks like Bronze chrome. Oh wait, now it looks normal whern the car is outside.

Do you really think that cold air, jets and bigger pipes will pick up a second?
