painted wheels gives it that sleeper look. go with the painted the car has more of a finished look. the black gives it more of the casual drag race look. :aok

More work is being done to the 1971 Road Runner since it's last outing in September 2010. Looking to better the 14.18 E/T @ 98MPH.

A new air grabber hood is at Central Connecticut Automotive being refinished. A 2.5 X Stainless pypes exhaust system is going to be installed later this summer. The Road Runner should be ready to go for some TnT in September, then maybe the SuperCar MuscleCar Nationals in October at LVD

What do you expect the hood will be worth in terms of ET & MPH? And what does the car have for an exhaust system now? It looks just as show ready and pristine as your other cars. :aok

Current exhaust is a 2.25 pipes with Napa mufflers and 2.00 tail pipes. The hood should free up some HP all around, in the heat and in the cool. I am looking to shave off a second or more with the new updates.

The current exhaust on the car is very restrictive.

I agree, and bet you will have to throw more jet at it once the exhaust is installed.

I figured it would have been finished 2 days after you got it home. Can't wait to see it finished.
