Hi . . . I've met some of ya at Cecil County a few months ago when I was going to announce the event. Alas, the rain ruined the races so I didn't get the opportunity to have some fun in the announcer's booth. Maybe I'll get a chance in 2010?

Anyway, Ralph asked me to post a pic of my car. I thought I had when I signed up here, but maybe not. It's been in storage, for the most part, since 2001, but Dad wanted it out of his digs so now I have it. Slowly but surely, it'll be brought up to proper, street-legal duty.......

I've owned it since I was 15, although it was in rather poor condition at the time.

Oh, you remember the car from back then? Cool!

Regarding the Nats in '93 . . . I had my photos developed but they screwed something up - I can't remember what - so I asked them to do it again. Like a dolt, I gave them all the prints . . . and then they lost the negatives AND the existing prints, leaving me with fewer memories of the event. I did manage to score a video of it from some dude in IL, but nothing beats having pics in your hand or on a computer.

When I lived in Jersey, it said "RATEATR" because "Chevy Sux" didn't fit.

And as far as being an Olds guy is concerned, I am a Pontiac guy with a weakness for Mopars who happens to have an Olds. :cheers

Yeah . . . at least digitally. I may have a print, but it's in a box with lots of other old-tech photos. :bang

Diego,

Very nice ride. Dr. Olds would be happy!

To paraphrase you... "I'm a Mopar guy who likes Olds (have a 68 442 w/ 455 & 4spd) and own a few Fords." :cheers

Very Nice Deigo,
I'm another Mopar guy that has a soft spot for Olds :aok I've had 2 in the past and loved them.. 68 442 4 speed A/C and a 66 442 4 speed Post . That is one rare car you have, Love the color combo. I agree with Ralph, enjoy it, drive it and bring it to the Track :cheers

The car is very tired, so it will be a long time till it makes it to the track again.
