i went with a power booster as all Zl1s had to be ordered with power disc brakes. There is a suplemental vac pump to operate it.

behind the washer jug is the vac pump for power brakes. It came from a late model diesel gm pickup....i really wanted up under fender but if it needed service i would need to pull fender to do it. Under the fender i put the line loc. I bent the lines to try and emulate the stock appearnce.

12 bolt rear moser 33 spline axles. I went with a modified eaton posi. Running on the bias plys im thinking it might be safer than a spool if the car gets sideways? i can always add the spool later. Gear ratio is top secret!! (haha) its way less gear than most might guess. I plan on making big torque and keeping the rpms relatively low.

Glass and window trim. The window trim was a big issue. There was a gap where the new repo quarters joined the roof that was inadvertantly missed by the shop. the trim had to be reshaped in one area, or the entire car needed to be resprayed after area was repaired! At this point there was no way i was going to do that so a master metal smith, Phil at supreme metal tradeworks reshaped the trim in need and polished remaining trim. It was my choice to do this but the body shop picked up tab instead of redoing there error! The results are awesome!
