Ryan, sorry I did not see your post until this evening after I got back from the track. I paid 9.50 for the VP c-12 (112 octane i.e the green stuff). normally I use the sunoco supreme 112(the blue stuff), I buy it locally at Carlquist Competition Engines in Watertown Ct., a 5 min car ride from my house. But dummy me I forgot my fuel jug at my house. Anyway got a few issues to work out,but, the season is half over and it will just be a learning experence till next ice breaker. By the way, Bill the owner of Carlquist Comp is very friendly has a Full service machine shop and an engine dyno (not chassis). He can fufill all machineing and is reasonable.

well didnt make it to the track. I can however say that after 3 1/2 years of hard work on my my 41(!!) birthday i can fianlly say i am "done" with the build...here come some finished pictures...
