Usually when winter arrives I sit on my butt for too long and then scramble to get thing sorted once the weather breaks.

Its the begining of Feb and haven't touched my motor but I got the gear swap done and wrapped a couple weeks back.

Last night finished assembling the tranny. I made a couple changes to the auto one of which might be linked to my tailhousing break problem. However in a quest to try to cover as many bases as possible, I did get my hand on a truck tailhousing that is quite a bit beefier than the car tail with thick ribbing cast down the sides. I'll still look into the problem further but if I miss the root of the problem, hopefully the extra strenth will keep me off the trailer early.

Now with all the tranny parts inside the case rather than scattered everywhere in the shop, I can now dig into the motor.

See you in the spring!!

Where are you at??
