Hi Folks...I'm building a stock looking BBC powered Nova and it's primarily for street "fun". I really don't want to run it with traditional traction devices hanging down. What I'd like to do is to make it work with custom springs and shocks and maybe an adjustable pinion snubber. It's pretty clear to me that most of you can get down the track (extremely well!!!) with that sort of arrangement. Given that, can some of you share your leaf spring setups with me?

Thanks in advance :cheers

I have superstock type rear springs out back clamped in front to avoid wrap up. And with adjustable shocks set firm to plant the tire.
MorosobTrick front springs up front with 90/10 shocks
Works pretty good

Sure does work "pretty" good! I'm a fan :-D Can you tell me who made up the springs? Years ago I had some SS style springs made up for a 1969 Camaro (from Tri City Competition) and they had a bunch of preload in them. Car sat crooked but from the photos I see, your car sits nice and level.

These are Tri City, been in there a while, early on it sat higher as you mention but had a weight box that leveled things out. Its since been removed. Must be broken in.
