So I have one 350 block with messed up splayed caps that has been sitting at E&G for months now. They don't seem excited about getting it done.

I also have a virgin 4 bolt block I was going to bring down to my local guy but he's so backed up he said to call in a couple weeks, and he doesn't have line hone capabilities.

Any recommendations for a shop somewhat in the vicinity of New Haven to do std block work to an SBC?? I might give a new shop a try just to get the motor stuff going while I work on the car. Looking for a straight shooter that is going to do it right in a reasonable amount of time.

I need it bored .030, torque plate honed, square decked and line honed.

Carlquist Competition Engines. Owners name is Bill, on the Waterbury / Watertown line, straight up Rt.8 north to Exit 35. If you call you might speak to his wife Michelle. There is an in house engine dyno that his brother runs. Phone is 860-274-0742. He did some work for me and he also supplies me with race fuel.

Thanks Mike.

I called and in a couple of weeks can hopefully drop everything off.
