As it happens, I am setting up a rebuild on my '67 R/T

This will be a mild freshening compared to some of the contenders,

but shall give me the gumption to pursue or enjoy the level I reach.

I want to say, I will be searching for a small untouched record, that

thus far has been left unmolested. I will try and Wedge myself into

that spot and go from there. Should be interesting compared to

AT&T wanting the R/T for a Slowskys commercial........See you all

in the early spring.......and see if the Newbie can walk this thing out

of the hole........... :drive

In Order,

HP2 New Bigger Hemi coming from NY  delivery around mid January. Will be completed sitting next to- Billy's, Ed's, Darrell's, Lane's, Chris's, Scott's and Scott's, John's and John's, Jeramy's and who ever else who wants to be part of the SuperCars Display at the Hartford Expo Center in February ready to go for the 09 season.

440+6 Stainless Exhaust X Pipe.

Demon off to the Body Shop in December to have the engine bay sprayed. Big order placed with Jeff Paterson  for all the Kill parts needed.

Pull Hemi out of 67 GTX and rebuild it into a killer Pure Stocker to go bang gears with :drive .

This is the best time of the year I get to spend time out in the Garage completing minor projects

Took the tranny out yesterday, nice big crack right thru the tail. I need to find the source of my broken tail housings. Anybody know a good driveline shop that does alum shafts?? I think I need the shaft lengthed and rebalanced.

I was content last season repeatedly breaking my own records, in 09 I'm looking to break other peoples records . I plan to go thru the entire powertrain from the fan all the way to the ring gear over the winter.

I'm not sure I can drop much more off of the already svelte weight of 2950# but the driver is looking to shed a couple over the winter. ;)

Dalton got one from Mancini Racing. Dave Dudek (Hemicar) recommended a shop this past summer that built him an aluminum drive shaft.

Yes Ralph,

I actually have plenty of the blocks,   just need to finish up with the bottom end and start assembly.
Should be a good ice breaker next year. We may use Scott's car as a test bed for my motor till my car is completed. :drive :drive Yes it still will be a stick!!!!! We have alot of work to do over the winter. My 70 should be in the body shop by the end of this year. All sheetmetal parts are now all purchased now i have to beg my bodyman to get workin' look familiar Ralph!!!!

For me, heading into my first year in this, I plan to get the exhaust set up correctly for the Charger. H Pipe and some Dynomax mufflers as well as some tweaking here and there

I have a few other cars that need attention too...not for competition...well, not on the track anyway... so I may embark upon pulling the 440 from my 68 GTX that is long overdue for a "re-fresh".
