Rhett, if a '69 hood is the same, I know someone who will let me have one for FREE that is supposed to be in really good shape. LMK I realize you already fixed the hood that you have.

I appreciate the offer. For what I would have used it for a 69 hood would have been fine, but i would have cut out the hinge area and used it to repair my hood. The front end has a peak in the center on a 69 hood but the under structure is the same. I wouldn't want to cut up a good 69 hood to fix my 68. All and all I'm happy with the repairs, was going to look for another hood bacause of the high stress in the area, but the repair is stronger than stock. :pop
