It's always something. Last weekend I was towing back from Lebanon Valley. North of Hartford a car full of people pulled up alongside of me yelling "You lost your wheel" I figured they were screwing with me. Then another car did the same thing. I pulled over and sure enough the left front wheel of my trailer was gone. The lugs were sheared off.

I didn't see, hear or feel anything and Have no idea where the tire and wheel got to.

This is a 5200 lb. axle with six 1/2" lugs. Fortunately I have torsion suspension and was able to continue home with just one wheel on that side.
So I bought a 20 ton press from Harbor Freight, two new tires and two new wheels (one tire was flat spotted and one wheel was bent from previous adventures). I bought two sets of wheel studs from NAPA. One set was a little short and the second longer set was not threaded enough to tighten the wheel. My son messed up the a little too short ones getting them out. For the last two days I have been hunting around for the perfect length studs. Is anyone aware of how many knurl diameters there are for 1/2" wheel studs?
So here is where I am, Napa is shipping in for today another set of a little too short ones just in case I have to use them. Rhett found a company on line and I ordered what is supposed to be the exact studs for my Al-Ko axle (they are only 1/8" longer than the Napa ones) and are shipping air. So I am into this repair for about $600. including the press and Air shipment
Hopefully I will have everything together for Englishtown this weekend.
