My Giant Killer is finally here. A 1967 Chevy II two door Sedan. I at times have trouble posting photos here and this is one of them. This car is more of an unbuild than a build. I have lots of good parts to take off it. I will be listing the parts on the For Sale section. The car is a little Beast a solid 10 second car and under other conditions I would be running it as a Nostalgia Superstock car, but I am on a mission.

I will try to post some photos tomorrow.

:rock that thing is going to fly in whatever configuration you put together. I'll be looking forward to having my ass handed by this car when it is put together for the super car series.

Very cool Hal. Will it be a S/A 327-275 HP car?

I think 275hp is the way to go. All you give up is the Aluminum intake of the 325/350 HP car but you get to use the 750cfm Qjet. The Holley on the 350hp was small around 600 cfm. Plus its got to be an Automatic and the car already has a built Glide.

Ever since I saw Jenkins spank the Hemis and 427 Fords at the Super Stock Nationals at New York National with his 66 I knew someday I was going to have one of these. This year it will have 355cu in next year 406.

I had a feeling you would go the 275HP 327/PG route. Saw you mention it a few times, and crunched some #'s myself to see how it would fare. I think it will be a killer combination, can't wait to see a build thread with more pictures/progress. :rock

Good luck with the project Hal. I guess this means that we may not be running big car vs. big car this year when my project is finished.

Bill, I'll still be running the Big Car for awhile but with no changes. You're big inches should have no trouble from the Belair.

Update: Got the Brakes straightened out, New wheel cylinders and hoses. New front and rear bumpers installed. Removed the the NOS system. I took it out for a short ride to test the brakes today and brought Karen along. Now that the roads are a cleaner, I was able to get on it a bit. It's a little Monster. :drive And Kathy, It made it all the way back home.
