Finally finished the restoration of a correct steering wheel and Horn button. Painted it on Saturday between the rain drops. Installed it Sunday night. New rugs and move shift lever to the column and the interior will finally be done next winter. I am having trouble finding a shifter lever though.

We don't need no stinkin hydraulics to lift the front wheel. Rhett, you are always so cruel to my little Chebby. Just for that he is thinking of kicking your ass this weekend :stir :moon

Not surprising with that wet noodle of a chassis for you to lift a tire! Becareful that the winshield doesn't pop out. As for this weekend we shall see! I need to even up the score.

the great equalizer!
I don't have a lot of cars but I have different tires!
The faster I go on slicks means the faster I go on Polyglas..about 5 to 6 tenths difference.
I love the way a WOT 4000 rpm launch feels with 38* of timing on those slicks..and the 1.6 60 ft.
My car is dual purpose :aok

I don't want to hi-jack Hal's thread...done here :cheers

I have been thinking of trying my slicks on the Deuce, but I have to check if they will clear the tail pipes which come close to the F70's already. I plan on running the Hot Rod reunion at NED next month with slicks if they fit :dragster .

Hal,I have a pair Mickey Thompson ET drags that are 26" tall and 9" wide mounted on some 15x7 wheels if you would like to borrow them.

Thanks for the offer but I have Hoosier 26x8's that came on the car. I am just not sure they will clear the tail pipes. I also have a pair of 24.5x 8.5 M&H tires that I used on an SRT-4 Neon probably would equate to more gear than I want.
