My next project was brought home this past Saturday 2/22. A 1968 EE1 blue hemi roadrunner, white interior, 4 speed hard top. Pretty well optioned car as per build sheet. Power disc brakes, power steering, black out hood treatment(which was sprayed over white. Anyone know if hood could have white instead of black?), factory tach, light group, decor pack, side accent stripe, rubber bumper guards and trailer hitch. A local long island car in storage for almost 40 years. Last reg 1976. Story is original owner wanted to tow his boat and race too. Dealer sticker is still on the trunk. Will put up pictures when I can. Rhett, you are partial to the color I think :-D

Nice find! Yes very partial to ee1! You don't see too many cars in that color.

Congrats on a terrific score with a great color combo.

I too am partial to that color and need to put back together my '68 Fury II 4-door sedan (quasi detective car look) that is in that color and was painted a few years ago.

My car is ee1 or midnight blue poly. I used the same color code from the ppg archive when i painted it. I still have a small piece of the fender that i patched. The color looks the same.

Build sheet says ee1. Its dirty/faded but inside trunk lid is clean and shiny. . Also came with kelsey hays recall rims. Sport steering wheel also. Will get pictures up as soon as I can. Real busy this week and now snow monday. When will it end.

Rhett,

Went by memory so you are probably correct.

I like both shades of blue.

68 are my favorites. I like the hoods on them. Great find to say the least

Great find! I note the trailer hitch - someone probably used this Hemi RR to tow a boat or something.
