Every year the series seems to grow leaps and bounds. I took some time last night thinking about 2014 and all of the new builds and improved builds we will see in 2014.

I am pretty much ready to go for 2014, Mr. Belvedere is getting a new windshield for 2014, a Tach upgrade and a dummy fuel pump. The Road Runner is getting a new set of wheels for the back and an Air Cleaner. My biggest project for 2014 is the Demon need to learn as much about that plastic carb this winter as possible :pop . Looking to upset some Big Block in 2014 with the Demon :stir . The 1971 Road Runner needs an exhaust clank fixxed and put a fuel Sending unit in and she will be ready looking to improve the E/Ts to be part of the 13 second club :winner . All Four cars will be out in 2014.

Pulled the motor out of the car last weekend. Pulled the heads off and I' m going to measure my true compression. I have cleaned the piston tops and determined that they are icon forged pistons #745. Two valve relief dished I think they are pretty far in the hole, but will measure this weekend. Just a quick calculation puts compression at 9.6 ish. i sill redo measurement to get exact number. I was going to machine the intake plenum this weekend but had to postpone. Some pictures to follow.

After a nice fall without breaking, and getting the car certified at 11.06 with quite a few 11-teens, i really dont want to change much!
Cosmetics are in order, and alot of work on teddy's 68!
The plan is to have it at the ice breaker!

I don't know :shrug ...... Maybe I'll just throw in the towel and put the baby motor back in it :stir ... Yeah, like that is gonna happen... Just gotta work out the buggs, and git-er-done!!! I know its early, any idea on the schedule Ralph?

I just hope to finish my heap, do some t & t down here, then make it to an event or two. I am waiting on my alternator currently. I am about 80% or so healed, and about ready to get back to work on the car.
