I don't think that will be happening today. O'h I get it the Chevy bodied Mopar powered car beating the Ford bodied Mopar powered car. Got it :aok . Have fun. Make sure to get a good look at all those funny looking valve covers with the plugs that go thru the center of them. Also take pics of ALL those big block chevies in top fuel for us :stir

What to do? Really? You have to ask?

Call the airline and rebook for a later flight, go to In and Out Burger for lunch, go to the races for the weekend, see Southern California and then fly to Vegas and get lucky :drinking

After Friday qualifing Mike Edwards takes over #1 in Pro Stock with his Camaro. That is 8 of 12 qualifiers with GM.

I got to see the first round of Stock Eliminator. The quickest car was a new Mustang followed by a COPO Camaro. Than a whole bunch of A/S and A/SA 69 427 Camaros. Nice track, I hope to get there again sometime.

Hey HAL! On Sunday the only thing quicker than a MOPAR was a MOPAR!!!

Sunday

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Results for Final Round

(W) Vincent Nobile (Mountain View Tire Avenger) 0.057 6.584 210.05

He continues to hit the starter button and Nobile waits for him and finally Coughlin gets it to start. Coughlin then goes red and Nobile gets the win. this is Nobile's sith National event win in Pro Stock

Good win for MOPAR in Pro Stock Nobile wins from #5 qualifing position. Seven MOPARs qualify in top 16 should be a good competitive year.

But then :stir :

Competition Eliminator winner - Pontiac Sunbird :beer

Super Stock Eliminator winner - Chevy Cobalt :winner

Stock Eliminator Winner - Chevy Camaro :winner

Supergas Winner - Pontiac Sunbird :beer

How about the Antron Brown crash? The explosion sounde like a bomb.

Ralph; I think that we better start keeping track of Pro Stock this year. Six races done and three MOPAR and three Chevy wins.

Last weekend got rained out and is rescheduled. As I said before, it should be a good competitive year in Pro Stock.
