All right, cars put away, tools cleaned up time to say a big Fu... I mean thank you to Rhett Moody for bringing you transmission jack and comically long 3/8th extension. Thanks for throwing all my bolts into a bucket. Thanks for keistering all my 7/16th sockets thanks for throwing my wrench into a puddle of trans fluid. Also thanks for all your hard work and all the laughs. It was fun.

Bill, had you done this after the last race and before snow fell, you could have done the converter swap on a lift in my garage...

Surprised you didn't go to Lenny for a converter.

I hope your changes make a big difference on the track.

Even though I told you I would throw the wrench into the puddle I didn't really mean it, however when it did slip out of the hand and end up in the puddle, I can see were you would be suspicious!
Let's take a poll! When working on the car, 1) who leaves the nut\bolts spread out all over the fender covers\bench\ground or 2) throws all them into a paint pot! :pop

Second poll
Who REALLY uses those socket organizers! It's was like I was working with James May from top gear!!! :moon :pop

Rhett, the help that you have given me over the years has been invaluable and I know I could never repay you for all of your help. However, you have to admit that neatness is a concept that eludes you.

Poll 1: Rhett will use many methods for placement of fasteners etc. even when a nice, clean magnetic tray is readily available, which I try to use when I am wrenching on a car. He really likes to use both ramps on my lift so that there is some symmetry to hardware and tool placement.

Poll 2: For the most part, I use socket organizers. I can't help it, I am anal and I admit it. Now Rhett, you have to admit that when you can't find where you put that 7/16" socket down and need it again that having the socket organizers lets you quickly get the second and third or fourth 7/16" socket that you need because the last one you used is MIA. :P

Bill C I think it's time to repay Rhett. Bring your car to a race this year. Want to really make him happy come to more than one race. :winner

Deal.

Maybe I can catch him asleep at the tree, find some traction and let him have a nice view of my tail lights.....
