Bill,

I suggest that you stop using the inexpensive Fram oil filters. You may want to use the Wix or NAPA Gold racing oil filter since you are spending some money on the engine internals. Might be worth a phone call to Bill Atwood for his thoughts.

I was going to ask if there was a new larger stroke crank under those shiny new pistons but now that you posted the cam card I guess I'll ask how many extra cubes are there? What's the new compression? Everything looks awesome and the exact direction I want to take my worn out engine. :aok

There are some great stroker kits out there with light weight pistons. Give Dwayne Porter a call. He can steer you in the right direction for sure.

I'm probably a year or two away from that. I still think I have a few tenths to gain in my current setup. Once I think I can't gain any more it will be very difficult not to upgrade.

New cam break in went well. Drove the car around a bit afterward, it's fun. Ready for atco.

I want to thank Tom Tarzwell, Rhett Mooly Moody, Bill Atwood, Ralph Barbagallo and Hal Oaks. Without you guys I never would have gotten this far.

Cheers
Bill

Saturday sure, and what did I tell you after you poked the sleeping bear? Nails that stick up get hammered! My .020 to your .095, my .052 to your .072, my .044 to your .088. That looks like three for three.
