Mid block, big block I don't know part numbers, but I like autolite, cheap autolite. I think they are 2.95 each. I have run expensive everything. Never notice a difference. Fresh plugs are better and it hurts less to pay 3 bucks a piece. :pop

So I took this rain out to get another project off the list. All my brake parts are in ready to go.Image
So I figured I'd start on the left front because I needed to change the wheel cylinder due to the bleeder being broken off my old one.Image
But as usual, when I get everything apart, I find that I have a passenger side wheel cylinder instead of the one I ordered.Image
Just another day in musclecar land..

On a happier note, I got my firecore wires on. They are correct for my car and seem real high quality.Image

I would go ahead and change the right side too unless it has been done recently. You have the part and you don't want the right side to go bad on a hard stop from 100mph. :aok

:agree
True on all accounts Hal. :sick On a serious note I would change the other cylinders. Usually when one goes the others are not far behind.

I'll install it because the part is cheaper than the shipping to return it. None went bad I just had a broken bleed valve. Thanks for the input.

Things work funny sometimes. I ordered a left side wheel cylinder and received a right side. I soared a left locally but decided to put the other new one in just because. Also I figured I could clean a few grams weight of brake dust out of my drum
Well this is what I found

So good luck on me.

Bill,

You need to see me for a correct appearance solid state voltage regulator and use that aftermarket voltage regulator with red lettering as a spare. If it caught my eye in a photo, others will notice it. Only $20.

What you might find interesting about that, is that the V.R. On the firewall is a dummy. The real one is under the dash with a ballest and an orange box.
Nice catch tho, and it will need to be changed.

Ok, I'm now only one out of three with getting parts from RockAuto. First they sent me the wrong side wheel cylinder. But it was a wheel cylinder for the front of a road runner. This time I ordered front brake shoes. Road Runner brake shoes are 11X3, the ones I received are tiny. They can't be for any mopar but maybe a K-Car. Is it just my luck or have you also had. The wrong parts sent from Rockauto? :bang .
